The Japanese artist Iro Tomita has a background in studying fisheries. His "New World Transparent Specimens" series, in which he allows fish's natural proteins to turn them transparent and then injects them with colorful dyes that reveal their skeletal system, draws on that educational experience. It also gives us a new look at complex inner workings of living things.
