Things are easier said than done, or so the old adage goes, and we couldn't agree more. That's why we do The GOOD 30-Day Challenge (#30DaysofGOOD), a monthly attempt to live better. Our challenge for June? Go vegetarian.
To complement that challenge, we decided to launch a new project asking the GOOD community to redesign the supermarket. After all, that's where we make most of our dietary decisions anyway. Read on to learn more about the project and get involved.

the THEME You’re pretty sure you didn’t go to grocery store to buy whiskey and Snickers bars but somehow they made their way into your canvas tote. Don’t feel too badly. Supermarkets are designed to make you buy more than you want. Their basic layout has you trekking from one end of the store to the other, maximizing the chance you’ll throw a few extra goodies into your cart. GOOD wants you to design a better grocery store—one that encourages nutritious eating and corporate transparency.
the OBJECTIVE Redesign the layout of your supermarket to promote healthy choices and discourage impulse junk-food buying. The whole store is yours! Hang fruit from the ceiling, hide the cigarettes, let your store reflect your food values.
the REQUIREMENTS\n
Upload a jpg with a high enough resolution (300dpi) to be seen clearly and possibly be printed here. We’ll take submissions now through Wednesday, June 22.
The winning entry will be announced on GOOD.is, featured on our homepage, and printed in the next issue of GOOD. We’ll also send a GOOD T-shirt and a free subscription (or gift subscription) to the winner.
