Ceschi Ramos, a longtime progressive hip-hop star, is a prolific and incredibly versatile musician. The New Haven, Connecticut-based singer-songwriter has produced an extensive catalog that combines rapid-fire rapping and melodic, guitar-driven indie rock. Along with his brother David, Ceschi runs
Fake Four, a record label devoted to unorthodox and highly creative hip-hop sounds.
"In 2002 or 2003 I made this beat, and it made me miss my dog Rumba so much that I wrote this little ditty about her," Ceschi says. "In 2011, I revisited the song by re-recording my vocals with a good mic and playing a few more instruments on top of the beat. It's my favorite song from my upcoming album."
