Last month we held a contest asking people to design an infographic about the earthquake in Haiti. The results were astounding. After the contest had already wrapped up, friend of GOOD named Jono Brandel was inspired to create a more interactive infographic, so he built an application (which you can download here) that depicts the almost 1,000 donors (as either bandages or strips of gauze). Users can either click and drag to single out a bandage or cycle through via the arrow keys.Take a look at the video below to get an idea of how it looks.[vimeo][/vimeo]I just love this creative spirit. You can download the application (which was built with Processing and uses toxiclib and motionlib) for either Windows or OSX.Thanks, Lawrence.
