Are Standards of Beauty Redefined By Going Make-up Free?

Would you have dared to go bare-faced in high school? Would-or do-you now?

A beauty revolution is currently underway at a high school in Texas. At Colleyville Heritage High School, a group of teenage girls have formed a club called Redefining Beautiful, where 180 girls fight back against unreasonable standards of beauty by going make-up free on Tuesdays.

Reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram: "We're not against wearing makeup," said Nina, 16, a junior. Members of the club include classroom leaders, athletes, and quieter types. "We're really against girls feeling like it's a shell to hide in."

Recently, inspired by Rabbit Write's no make-up week, Siobhan and Alexandra sponsored a no make-up challenge of their own. Check out the results for yourself.
