Hey, dog lovers! Are you a designer, coder, or a big thinker? Join us on Dec. 7-8 at GOOD HQ for the Karma Rescue Redesign, a hackathon to help shelters shine online, hosted by GOOD and Purina ONE.
Over two days, event participants will work together to brainstorm, prototype, and redesign a new website for Karma Rescue – a Los Angeles-based animal rescue group – to improve the organization’s ability to find homes for pets, reach new supporters, and engage with their community.
Join us on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 to ideate, create and pitch your team’s idea to a panel of judges that will include representatives from GOOD, Karma Rescue and Zeus Jones. Don’t have a team? Don’t worry – you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and create teams on Saturday morning.
The entry fee of $10 will be donated to Karma Rescue. And while the shelter pets will certainly win from your ideas, we also have a prize for the team with the winning redesign. The winning team will receive:
