A British report has called for people to be less afraid of science, calling our society a kind of "Neo-Luddism." This doesn't just mean accepting evolution and climate change, so don't get too haughty, you egghead liberals. It also means that those genetically modified crops and nuclear power plants are the wave of the future. Get with it.
And, yes, the scientists must talk about the report by using a Star Trek metaphor. It's mandatory.
