The mix tape has been called the most widely practiced American art form, and rightly so: it has a rich history that spans three decades, and the current digital music revolution has made compiling a pleasing selection of songs easier than ever. And so, for good's fifth project, we want to hear what you can do. We want you to make us a mix tape. The only caveat is that it must have a theme; it can't just be your favorite songs. We asked ERIC STEUER, the creative director of Creative Commons, to be the first participant in our project. His theme is "How Appropriated! Songs That Feature Prominently in Other Songs." Your theme can be anything, from something as complex as Eric's to one as pedestrian as, say, "summer."
