Project: Pin Awesome People on Pinterest

Here at GOOD, we recognize extraordinary stories of everyday heroes as a part of our People Are Awesome series. As just one example, earlier this month we featured Kristyn Dominy, who saved the life of a woman who had cut her off in traffic only moments earlier.

Now, we want you to share people you think are awesome. Your nominations might even inspire future GOOD People Are Awesome articles.

the OBJECTIVE:

Share photos and stories of the everyday heroes in your life on Pinterest. Nominees can range from people in the news like Stephanie Decker to your next-door neighbor.

the ASSIGNMENT:

Create a Pinterest board with 5 to 10 people you think are awesome. Write a one- or two-sentence caption for each photo explaining why each person is awesome.

the REQUIREMENTS:

In order to be eligible, you must do the following:

1. Title your board "People Are Awesome"
2. Label each pin with 1-2 sentences explaining why that person is awesome.
3. Email your board to projects[at]goodinc[dot]com.
4. Submissions will be accepted until Thursday, April 5.

We will choose our favorite boards and invite the GOOD community to vote for a winner. The winner will receive a GOOD t-shirt and a one-year subscription to our print magazine. Get pinning!
