Test-driving the Nano, the Car That Might Destroy the World
The Guardian's south Asia correspondent got a chance to try the Nano, the supposedly clean, green minicar that retails for the equivalent of $1,979 U.S. The 5'10" test-driver says he feels comfortable in the thing, and is most impressed with its speed. The biggest difference, he says, is the pared-down dash.He calls it "nippy" a few times, and describes it as "jellybeaned," closing off by saying "I'd buy one. At this price, you'd be crazy not to."
