The #30DaysofGOOD Challenge on financial fitness is in full swing—so far, we’ve digitized our receipts, started a spending diary, calculated the cost of our commute, and added more fiscal fundamentals to our personal toolbox. Now that we’re well on our way to financial health, why not spread the knowledge around?
Whether you’re an investment expert or a savvy shopper who’s mastered the art of living well on a shoestring, you have plenty of know-how to share. GOOD Maker wants you to tell us how you’d help people in your community save and spend smarter in 2012. Perhaps you want to teach students how to create a personal budget, or design a cool app for expense tracking. Submit a creative idea that promotes financial fitness in your community and you could win a $500 grant to make it happen.
Submissions for the financial fitness Maker Challenge are open until Monday, January 23 at 3 p.m. EST. Voting will be open from January 23-31, so get ready to rally your networks behind your project.
