How America Engages with the Arts

In partnership with the United States Census Bureau, the National Endowment for the Arts asked American adults about the myriad roles art plays in their lives. "One of the most important things we can do as the National Endowment for the Arts is to understand how our nation engages with the arts," says NEA Senior Deputy Chairman Joan Shigekawa.
