Courtney Young is a writer and entrepreneur living in both New York City and Southwest Louisiana. Young has written for publications such as The Nation, The American Prospect, and Ms. Magazine and is currently working on her first book. She is a graduate of both Spelman College and New York University. She is the founder of Think Young Media Group, a boutique technology and media agency that produces narrative, documentary and television projects. She is also the co-founder of Heartmob, a tech platform designed to reduce trauma and isolation for individuals experiencing online harassment. Heartmob was endorsed by the New York Times and has been featured in FastCompany, the Washington Post, Policy Mic, and Cosmopolitan Magazine.
