Hank Nuwer

Hank Nuwer is a professor of journalism at Franklin College. The author of "Wrongs of Passage," "Broken Pledges," "High School Hazing," and "The Hazing Reader," he now has his upcoming "Hazing: Destroying Young Lives" for Indiana University Press listed at Amazon and elsewhere. Hank founded and helps maintain the Buffalo State Hazing Collection, the only special collection devoted entirely to hazing and bullying scholarship. http://library.buffalostate.edu/archives/nuwer HazingPrevention.org's "Hazing Hero" award was named in his honor. He is a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors. He and his wife Malgorzata Wroblewska-Nuwer reside in Indiana and Warsaw, Poland. He has given lectures on the topic of hazing education at well over 100 colleges and universities, including Dartmouth, Cornell, the University of Pennsylvania, and University of Oregon. His fictional "Sons of the Dawn: A Basque Odyssey" has a sub-theme of hazing and bullying in the old American West.
